General FAQ's

My child is not very artistic.  Can they still participate in classes?

Absolutely!  Studies show that children that participate in art classes and activities develop better motor skills,confidence, improved decision making and academic perfomance.

My child does not fall within the grade requirements. Can I enroll them in the class anyway?

We want every student to have a fun and unique art experience.  The class ranges are designed to have the students in a similar grade, skill and emotional range.  If a student is in class and I feel they would benefit in moving to another class, I will let the parents know.

Should parents stay during,weekly classes?

We encourage artistic independence for your child.  Although we recommend that you use the time to do errands etc, we understand that some children can feel apprehensive when a parent is not around. Parents are welcome to stay until they or their child feels comfortable. 

What should my child wear?

Although we provide aprons, sometimes we get messy. We recommend that your you dress your child appropriately.

The session has already begun.  Can I still enroll my child?

Yes!  Please contact us to see if we have any openings.  We will also pro-rate the class.

My child is sick.  Can I make up the class?

Students enrolled in weekly classes are eligible for (1) one make up class.  Make-up classes occur on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.  If the instructor is sick or class is cancelled for inclement weather etc., class will be made up, refunded or credited to your account.

My child is not potty trained.  Can they still participate in classes?

We require that children be potty trained.  The exception is for Storytime Art Classes.

The weather is bad.  How do I find out if we still have class?

If class is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will receive an e-mail and text message. It will also be posted on our home page and our Facebook Page.

Birthday Party FAQ's

What age range is available birthday parties?

The age range for children's parties is 6 years old and up.

What themes do you offer for birthday parties?

We offer a variety of themes.  Every party is customized to your child.  We will create a unique art project that goes with the theme you choose. 

How long are birthday parties?

Parties are 1 1/2 hours.

I don't think 1 1/2 hours is enough time.  Can I rent the studio longer?

Yes, depending on availability the studio can be rented for an additional 30 minutes for a charge of $25.00

Are parents required to stay for the birthday parties?

We only require parents to stay with their child if they are under the age of 4.

Will the studio be shared with another birthday party?

Absolutely not!

When should I book my birthday party?

We recommend that you book your party at least 6 weeks in advance.  Please contact the studio for availabilty.

Do you provide games and other activities?

 We only provide the art activity and will provide art inspired games, if needed.

Can I bring food?

Yes, you can bring in your own food, snacks and drinks that do not require refrigeration.

Can I bring in my own art supplies?

No  art supplies can be brought into the studio.

Can I bring in my own goody bags?

Yes, you can bring your own goody bags.  

 

Summer Camp FAQ's

Can I register by the day or week for Summer Camp?

We encourange campers to register by the week.  Some of our projects are progressive. However, we will offer Camp by the Day options after June 1st. If you are interested by the day, please send us an e-mail at kathy.wildaboutart@yahoo.com and we will put you on a waiting list.
