General FAQ's

My child is not very artistic.  Can they still participate in classes?

Absolutely!  Studies show that children that participate in art classes and activities develop better motor skills,confidence, improved decision making and academic perfomance.

Should parents stay during,weekly classes or private lessons?

We encourage artistic independence for your child.  Although we recommend that you use the time to do errands etc, we understand that some children can feel apprehensive when a parent is not around.  Parents are welcome to stay until they or their child feels comfortable.

What should my child wear?

Although we provide aprons, sometimes we get messy. We recommend that your you dress your child appropriately.

The session has already begun.  Can I still enroll my child?

Yes!  Please contact us to see if we have any openings.  We will also pro-rate the class.

My child is sick.  Can I make up the class?

Weekly classes have a built in make up class in the event your child is absent. Unfortunately weekend workshops or special events can not be made up.

My child is not potty trained.  Can they still participate in classes?

We require that children be potty trained, except for the Create Together and Storytime Art classes.

The weather is bad.  How do I find out if we still have class?

If class is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will e-mail and it will also be posted on our home page and our Facebook Page.

Birthday Party FAQ's

What age range is available birthday parties?

The age range for children's parties is 3 years to 14 years of age.

What themes do you offer for birthday parties?

We offer a variety of themes.  Every party is customized to your child.  We will create a unique art project that goes with the theme you choose.  For children ages 3-6 years old, we can also do a party similar to our Storytime Art.  We will read the story and then do a art project.

How long are birthday parties?

Mini-Birthday Parties are 1 hour and 130minutes; Standard Parties are 3 hours.

I don't think 1 1/2 hours is enough time.  Can I rent the studio longer?

Yes, depending on availability the studio can be rented for an additional 30 minutes for a charge of $25.00

Are parents required to stay for the birthday parties?

We only require parents to stay with their child if they are under the age of 4.

Will the studio be shared with another birthday party?

Absolutely not!

When should I book my birthday party?

We recommend that you book your party at least 4 weeks in advance.  Please contact the studio for availabilty.

Do you provide games and other activities?

 We only provide the art activity and will provide art inspired games, if needed.

Can I bring food?

Yes, you can bring in your own food, snacks and drinks that do not require refrigeration.

Can I bring in my own art supplies?

No  art supplies can be brought into the studio.

Can I bring in my own goody bags?

Yes, you can bring your own goody bags.  We also offer a variety of goody bags and thank you notes/gifts for additional charge.

 

Summer Camp FAQ's

How can I register?

To register for any classes, simply make your choice and add it to your cart. For example, it you are registering 2 children, add 2 in the quantity.  

After you have made all of your choices, begin the checkout process. If you would like to pay by check or money order, please print  a copy of your order  and attach payment. Payment must be received within 5 days of purchase.  If payment is not received, your order will be cancelled and your spot will become available.

 

Can I register by the day or week for Summer Camp?

We encourange campers to register by the week.  Some of our projects are progressive. However, we will offer Camp by the Day options after June 1st. If you are interested by the day, please send us an e-mail at kathy.wildaboutart@yahoo.com and we will put you on a waiting list.

When is the latest I can register?

For summer camps, you can register up to a week in advance of any camps. However, registering after June 1st will include and additional $15 fee.  We encourage everyone to register as soon as they know their summer schedules.

For Kids Nite Out, registration must be done within 48 hours of event.  Also, a credit card must be used to secure spot.  We do not accept payments at the event.

What if a session has to be cancelled?

If a session has to be cancelled, you will receive a a complete refund.

Do you offer snack during camp?

Yes, we offer snack and drink during our camp day.  If your child has any food allergies, please make sure we are aware before camp begins.

What can my child bring for lunch?

If your child is staying for our Lunch-Add On Program, they will need to bring a lunch. We do not have the facilities to store or warm up food, therefore a cold pack should be placed in lunch boxes to keep lunch fresh.
